Bomb Threats and awareness distance learning course
This course promotes the detection and prevention, not disposal, of bomb threats. Methods of search techniques are taught as well as how to prevent a possible
bomb threat as policy in public buildings, including how to prepare for threatening calls. Character profiles of bomb threat callers and actual bomber motivations
are studied in detail. While HSI do not expect to train bomb disposal technicians, we do hope to give you enough education so that the HSI graduate is capable of
offering intelligent advice to his employer, establishing basic safety procedures, and knowing what to do during a bomb incident.
A topic that is becoming increasingly important and can not be over looked by responsible management and security staff.
Distance leaning course for bomb threat awareness
The course will provide information for students responsible for safety and security
and may have to respond to bomb threats.
This course phase requires the student to test by e-test as well as a physical on site test.
Students that pass the written and are called upon to do the practical test will be requires to show the ability to conduct a bomb search, identify potential explosives
and most likely potential bomb threat placements, telephone bomb threat calls. Test will be conducted at random sites such as
Hotels, cars, train stations and bus stations. Location testing will be approx. 1 hour.
Upon passing the exam, student will receive certificates for course completion with test results and score.
Course fee is 120 € plus 22 percent local tax
