Traveling in today’s dynamic and challenging world requires a high degree of vigilance and it is vital that flight personnel approach security and emergency preparedness with the same intensity that they apply to aviation safety. The development of a security culture is essential for this kind of preparedness.
Our Corporate Aviation Security Training (Sky Guard Defense Corporate) program is designed to educate flight personnel on proven methods to identify and act accordingly to the unique risks associated with operating a corporate aircraft. Sky Guard Defense Corporate (SGDC) exposes aviation personnel to proven security methods that can protect them against potential threats, including theft, kidnapping, sabotage, extortion, harassment, illegal trafficking and acts of terrorism.
Our program provides the information and techniques that will assist pilots and flight crew confidently answer these questions and many more.
Do you know how to identify potential dangers or red-flag situations in a foreign destination that on the surface seems safer than your home country?
Do you know what actions to take if you identify suspicious activity and behavior?
Do you know what actions to take in the event of a terrorist attack?
Do you know how to act if caught in the middle of an active riot or civil unrest?
Do you know how to recognize surveillance against you for the purposes of kidnapping you or your clients?
Attending Sky Guard Defense Corporate will allow flight personnel to take a fresh and progressive look at their flight operations and travel habits. After better understanding their weaknesses and vulnerabilities and by following the “3a’s (awareness, assessment and action), students can incorporate the idea of a “security culture” that will reduce risk and ensure a safe and secure trip.
Training Program Details and Our Approach
SGDC is offered as a one-day or two day (extensive course) on-site class. Flight departments with uncommon destinations or destinations with higher risk levels may require the 2 day course if counter-surveillance drills are incorporated. Each SGDC presentations are unique to our different client needs. Our instructor works with the client to design a training program specifically for their corporate aviation needs.
